Job Overview

This is a great opportunity to earn extra income while working from the comfort of your own home. The role involves triaging after‑hours calls for Adult, Geriatric, and Skilled Nursing Facility clients as part of a national call group.

• Receive calls through an answering service and a secure pager app.
• Return calls within a 15‑minute time frame (not exceeding 30 minutes).
• Resolve each issue with advice, treatment, or referral to the emergency department if required.
• Document each call in the exclusive client portal by 8:00am the following morning.
• Handle large call volumes, up to 30 calls on weekend shifts.
• Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff to assess situations using evidence‑based protocols.

• Experienced Adult/ Geriatric or SNF Nurse Practitioner.
• No new graduates; geriatric experience preferred.
• Command of the English language.
• Current Massachusetts NP license, MCSR certificate, and Federal DEA for Massachusetts.
• Malpractice insurance (preferably $1,000,000–$3,000,000).
• References, current NP certification, and a functional computer and smartphone.

Base pay guaranteed plus a per‑call fee, with potential earnings of up to $500 per shift. Compensation is provided on a 1099 contractor basis.
