Assistant Nurse Manager Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)-Home Telehealth (HT)
The Assistant Nurse Manager Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM)-Home Telehealth (HT) incumbent demonstrates the fundamental knowledge of the unit and is responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of care, assumes responsibility for the coordination of care, and influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and participating in process improvement initiatives.
The Assistant Nurse Manager RPM-HT provides clinical expertise, care coordination, education, and advocacy to Veterans, their family caregivers, and the interdisciplinary treatment teams while assisting the Nurse Manager as needed.
Major duties include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Nurse Manager with supervisory duties and responsibility and accountability for the operation of their designated units.
- Provide coverage for the Nurse Manager and other ANMs as needed.
- Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provide input into the evaluation of individual staff performance.
- Engage in professional organizations to enhance leadership and career growth.
- Adhere to ethical principles in decision-making, fostering accountability at personal, organizational and staff levels.
- Equip staff with tools for culturally competent care and promote a culture of accountability for high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of care delivery models and environmental designs ensuring evidence-based, accessible, affordable, and equitable patient care.
- Ensures compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, aligning nursing/clinical objectives with organizational strategic outcomes, participating in planning and execution.
- Maintains knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, directives, policies and standards operating procedures.
- Follows procedures per established policies and guidelines.
- All other duties as assigned.

Pay:
