Required Qualifications- A nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
- Two years of experience as an RN in long-term care, preferred, but not required.
- Eligible to participate in federally funded health care programs.
- Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
- Program Development and Oversight
:
The QCC also leads and manages Relias program within their community; supports Director of Nursing with company Skills Summit, training on care programs for all clinical/nursing positions, as well as all other departments to promote competency, compliance, and best care practices in skilled nursing care. - Monitoring and Education
:
Works closely with the facility’s Compliance Officer and other leaders in developing a training plan that addresses all regulatory requirements and any other topics identified in the facility assessment and/or needs assessment. Develop educational calendars in accordance with the plan. - Collaboration and Compliance
:
Identifies and prioritizes the facility’s educational needs through the completion of an educational needs assessment, based on the facility assessment. Follows established infection control policies and procedures.
