RN Field Case Manager

RN Field Case Manager – Kansas City (MO/KS)

This Field Case Manager will cover our Kansas City (MO/KS) region and must live in this area in order to be considered.

Must be an RN and prefer 1.5 years of prior Field Case Manager workers compensation experience.

Sedgwick Field Case Managers work face to face with their injured workers and medical providers to facilitate advocacy, progressive medical treatment, and timely return-to-work while acting as a liaison and providing communication between all involved parties. Frequent travel is required, but you will maintain a home-based office.

• Apply professional medical/clinical or rehabilitation knowledge to assist in the management of complex medical conditions, treatment planning and recovery from illness or injury.
• Work in a hybrid environment: remote interaction with injured workers and medical professionals while maintaining a home-based office.

• Serve as a patient advocate to support, guide, and coordinate care for injured workers, families, and caregivers.
• Help injured workers achieve recovery and autonomy through advocacy, communication, education, and service resource facilitation.
• Identify appropriate providers and facilities, ensuring timely and cost-effective use of resources for optimal value.

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable high-speed internet access required.
• Prior experience in workers' compensation or field case management preferred.
• Clear and conceptual thinking, excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion.
• Ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities, and deadlines.
• Computer keyboarding skills; travel as required.
• Hearing, vision, and speaking abilities sufficient for job duties.
