Position Summary
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC) – Gadsden, Alabama. Full‑time. Salary $125,000–$145,000 per year. FLSA status Exempt.
Responsibilities- Participate in an integrated care team model at OMH, collaborating with physicians, other psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, and mental health professionals.
- Customize care for each patient, determining visit schedule, length, and type of intervention.
- Deliver medication management and individual psychotherapy; may also provide family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as appropriate.
- Document clinical care following each session and manage documentation per team protocols.
Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado and/or Massachusetts. Experience working with patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments under supervision of a consulting psychiatrist. New graduates are welcome. Successful completion of PMHNP‑BC exam(s) preferred.
