Registered Nurse (RN) | Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Travel Nurse Source  is partnering with Core Medical Group to find a qualified Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse in Akron, Ohio (44307). The role is a contract/travel assignment, typically 13 weeks with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care during night shifts, supporting neonates and their families with clinical expertise and compassionate teamwork.

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to neonatal patients in an intensive care setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals, manage medication administration, and respond to emergencies.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly in the electronic health record.
• Educate families on neonatal care, discharge planning, and home care instructions.
• Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a safe, clean environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field.
• Valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a NICU or comparable neonatal setting.
• CPR and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
