Part Time Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Fee For Service

Position Summary

Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) for part‑time telehealth practice in South Carolina. Clinicians must be licensed and reside in the state where they practice.

$65,000 to $94,000 per year for a Fee‑for‑Service (W2) position based on 15–20 clinical hours per week.

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
• Treat clients aged 14 and older.
• Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms when appropriate.
• Create and collaborate with clients on care plans.
• Complete and administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
• Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
• Complete in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach; pass a brief exam.
• Enroll in the ADHD Clinic and treat ADHD clients; no quotas for client or prescription volume.
• Follow Thriveworks pharmacologic policy: do not incentivize stimulant medications—prescriptions are left to clinician discretion.
• Do not treat substance use disorders; refer clients to in‑person providers when symptoms exceed telemedicine management.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
• Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
• One year of psychiatry practice required; three years of experience is a plus.
• Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
• Must be licensed and reside in the state where practicing.
