Position SummaryAs a Cardiopulmonary Educator, you will use your clinical expertise to educate patients and caregivers about Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies, providing infusion training and ongoing clinical support. This is a direct‑hire, full‑time position.
In this role you will:- Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care.
- Work within a highly specialized area of nursing, enjoying autonomy in home care service delivery.
- Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled PAH therapies.
- Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in one‑on‑one settings.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer proficiency.
- Participate in on‑call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4‑6 weeks.
- Travel by car and occasionally by airplane to see patients, support the sales team, and attend training sessions.
- Approximately 70% of the time will involve travel, primarily within a 2‑3 hour drive of Charleston, and 30% throughout the East Coast.
- Work from home about 30% of the time when not visiting patients.
- Candidates must reside within one hour of Charleston International Airport.
- Overnight travel may be required, especially during on‑call periods.
- Must live within one hour of Charleston International Airport.
- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in SC, with ability to obtain additional licensure for multi‑state service.
- Two years of experience in a critical or acute care hospital setting providing high‑tech infusions, or two years of high‑tech home infusion experience.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation as required.
- Build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
- Travel as noted above and as business needs require.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Experience caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience.
- CRNI certification.
- Bilingual—Spanish helpful.
RN Diploma, Associate’s, or B.S. degree in nursing.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is: $54,095.00 – $. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual salary for the job grade, with actual offers depending on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Employees may also be eligible for bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive programs.
