Position: Clinical Nurse II -Endoscopy (Part Time, Day)

Job Description

At North Bay Health the Clinical Nurse (RN) has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the Department of Nursing. The RN, utilizing Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring Relationship Based Care, and North Bay’s professional nursing practice model, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care.

The RN makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher is required (excludes grandfathered employees).
License and Certifications
  • Valid, current and unencumbered RN license by the State of California.
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required.
  • Procedural Sedation Certification within 3 months.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years required (5 years preferred) in an acute care or ASC setting within the last 5 years.
  • One year of Endoscopy nursing experience strongly desired.
  • Competent in providing skilled registered nursing care to patients receiving sedation.
  • Skilled in arrhythmia interpretation.
  • Modifies and delivers care that is specific to the special needs/behaviors of the infant through school aged adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient within the scope of service of the perioperative department.

Compensation

Structure

North Bay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.

North Bay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.

Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.
