American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position in Massachusetts, requiring active MA licensure in hand, home health experience, and OASIS proficiency.
Details- Home health setting requiring independent clinical work in the community
- Caseload-based work requiring self-scheduling ability and flexibility with varied assignments
- Requires working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration — license will not be pended
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of acute nursing care experience required; hospital-based experience preferred
- Home health experience required
- Certified Home Health nurse required, including demonstrated proficiency with OASIS
- Infusion Therapy Certification preferred
- BSN highly preferred
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance required — candidate must have their own vehicle
- Home Health RN skills checklist (current within one year) required
- One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
- Knowledge of community health principles and practices required
- Ability to perform independently as a clinician with minimal supervision
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests submitted after the offer stage will not be approved
- Provides home-based nursing care with independent caseload management
- Applies community and home health nursing principles in a patient home environment
