Nursing Education Clinician — Remote​/Hybrid

We are seeking five dynamic educators with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to teach effectively while building meaningful partnerships across university and community settings. The ideal candidate possesses a solid foundation in nursing education, modern teaching methods, and an understanding of the unique challenges of delivering high-quality nursing instruction across Alaska’s diverse urban and rural communities.

Experience integrating technology to enhance learning is highly valued.

• Hold at least a baccalaureate degree in nursing.
• Be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
• Have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.

• Experience with curriculum development, particularly for distance education courses.
• Experience in additional specialty areas.
• Demonstrated ability to foster collegiality and collaborate.

Term‑funded, union‑represented, 9‑month per year faculty positions with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. Salary is based on experience.

The University of Alaska reserves the right to require employees to work on‑site at UA facilities. Hybrid and remote work may be approved for employees based in Alaska at the University’s discretion. Remote work for employees based outside the State may be approved only in exceptional circumstances or when required by job duties.
