• Provide comfort care to patients enabling them to remain at home with their loved ones.
• Work as a member of the hospice team to meet each patient’s unique physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

• Certified Nursing Assistant (highly preferred).
• Current CPR certification.
• In states where licensure is not required, must be licensed/certified or have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program and be continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months.
• State‑specific licensing or certification as required (see below).

• Arizona:
  Must be licensed/certified as a Nurses’ Aide.
• California:
  State certification as a home health aide required.
• Colorado:
  Completed state training program and certified via DORA.
• Indiana:
  Aides required to be registered on the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry (licensure not required).
• Missouri:
  Licensed/certified as a Nurses’ Aide; or completed nurse aide training program and employed for past 24 months; or enrolled in a nursing program with clinical rotation and passed Fundamentals of Nursing course.
• New Hampshire:
  Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) required.
• New Jersey:
  Certification as a Homemaker – Home Health Aide; or long‑term care CNA.
• Virginia:
  Aide certification required to practice.
• Wisconsin:
  Aides required to be certified and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
