Maine Health Behavioral Health (MHBH) seeks an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health Integrated team with Maine Health Primary Care – Family Medicine – Sanford. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric consultation and care to shape services for a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic and educate the care team on psychiatric approaches to behavioral health conditions.

Full-Time (benefits eligible) 32 hours per week – potential hybrid (onsite with some remote work) options.

• Master's degree as Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
• Two years’ experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) minimum.
• Valid license as a Nurse Practitioner by the Maine State Board of Nursing, qualified to perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
• Must meet specific credentialing criteria needed if working in the hospital as defined by Medical Staff By-Laws.
• Advanced skill and knowledge in conducting psychiatric evaluations and treating psychiatric patients.
