Nursing Lab Instructor, Full-Time
Job Details
Full-time Administrator – Clinical Learning Center.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 8:00pm. Work location flexible across two lab sites, with occasional evenings and weekends. Remote work not eligible.
Assist undergraduate and graduate nursing students with practice and competency evaluation of nursing skills in a supportive, nurturing clinical environment. Participate in Simulation Based Education (SBE) across nursing curricula.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide nursing students with the support necessary to practice nursing skills.
- Administer competency evaluation of psychomotor skills for undergraduate students, providing reinforcement and remediation as warranted.
- Facilitate simulation experiences: setup, scenario competency, breakdown of environment, and debriefing.
- Assist with day‑to‑day activities of the Clinical Learning Center.
- Assist with maintenance of laboratory environment, inventory of supplies and equipment.
Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.
RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Registered Nurse, B.S.N).
- 5 to 8 years of clinical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
