Part Time CRNA opportunity with OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL, an eastern Illinois community with an array of outdoor recreational options.
The 174-bed OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center provides comprehensive healthcare for the community of Danville, IL, along with the nearby region. The OSF Sacred Heart facility is part of the OSF Health Care system. This integrated healthcare network is operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis based in Peoria, IL.

Case Assignments:
General, OB, healthy peds, and bread and butter.
Shifts:
Part time CRNA (less than 40 hours/week). CRNAs cover seven OB home-based calls per month.
Team Leadership:
John Potts, CRNA, MS—Vice President of Advanced Practice Anesthesia for NAPA's Midwest Region (IN, IL, MI). John Potts joined NAPA in 2016. Prior to working at NAPA, Potts worked for a large CRNA-owned group in Michigan, where he was responsible for the development and operations of the group's small and rural hospital division. He has extensive experience in cardiac anesthesia, anesthesia for bariatric procedures, and ambulatory anesthesia.
Potts received his BSN in 1995 from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM). He returned to UDM in 1997 and, through an affiliation with Henry Ford Hospital, completed his CRNA training in 1999. He is a member of both the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists and Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Five CRNAs and three anesthesiologists work together in a care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Requirements:
Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed. Requirements include a current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, and certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

It also plays host to the National Junior College Athletic Association's Division II Men's Basketball Championship tournament.

Salary: $240K for 1.0 FTE. Part-time salary will be prorated based on your FTE status. Full time call takers can earn up to $275K with call incentives. Sign on bonus: $50K (prorated based on FTE).
