Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment (HAVE) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Eastern Shore Regional Nurse (RN/DN) to join our DDA Nursing Support Services team in Elkton, MD. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing essential nursing oversight and care coordination across the Eastern Shore region. Responsibilities:- Provide regional nursing support and oversight for individuals enrolled in DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) programs across the Eastern Shore
- Conduct nursing assessments, health screenings, and develop individualized health care plans
- Collaborate with direct support professionals, care coordinators, and external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor and manage medication administration protocols and provide staff training on health-related procedures
- Respond to medical concerns, incidents, and emergencies in residential and community-based settings
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DDA regulations and agency policies
- Participate in person-centered planning meetings and serve as a clinical resource for interdisciplinary teams
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Delegating Nurse (DN) license in the state of Maryland
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred
- Knowledge of DDA regulations, policies, and person-centered care principles
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
- Ability to travel regionally across the Eastern Shore to multiple program sites
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and staff training abilities
- CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
