Position Summary
As a Cardiopulmonary Educator with CVS Health, you will use your clinical skills to educate patients and caregivers about Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies, providing infusion training and clinical support.
In This Role You Will- Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate the patient’s plan of care.
- Work within a highly specialized area of nursing with autonomy in a home care service.
- Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
- Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one‑on‑one setting.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal customer‑service skills and advanced computer skills to interact with key partners.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4‑6 weeks.
- Travel by car and occasionally by airplane to see patients, support the sales team, and attend training.
- Approximately 70% of time traveling (70% within a 2‑3 hour drive of Charleston, 30% throughout the East Coast).
- Work from home about 30% of the time when not visiting patients.
- Candidates must reside within one hour of Charleston International Airport.
- Possibility of overnight travel, especially during on‑call rotations.
- Live within one hour of Charleston International Airport.
- Registered Nurse with an unrestricted South Carolina license; ability to obtain additional licensure for multi‑state service.
- Minimum two years of experience in critical or acute care hospital setting providing high‑tech infusions, or two years of high‑tech home infusion experience.
- Participate in on‑call rotation as required.
- Build positive relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
- Travel as noted and as business needs require.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Experience caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience.
- CRNI certification.
- Bilingual‑Spanish proficiency is helpful.
RN diploma, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
