Overview
Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. Up to $8,000 Sign‑On Bonus to qualified candidates.
Position Details- Location:
Hampton, VA - Work Shift:
First (Days) - Status:
Full‑time, Days - Role: LPN functions under the supervision of an RN or Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) and works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Trade School Graduate‑Licensed Practical Nurse required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 90 days of hire required
- Valid LPN license in state(s) of practice required
- Triaging, verifying medical information, caring for the patient's overall health, and working closely with doctors and team members preferred
- Experience in a hospital, home health, hospice, or our medical group preferred
