Overview:
Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 14 week temp position in the Emergency Department. This position offers $80/hr and requires flexibility in scheduling. No benefits provided. Shifts are 12 hours long (36 hours per week) from 1P to 1A.
Requirements:
Education:
Associate's Degree – Nursing, Bachelor's Degree – Nursing, or Diploma in Nursing
Certification/Licensure:
Required and all current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. Registered Nurse license eligible to practice in VA. TNCC preferred.
Experience:
At least 2 years of recent hospital emergency department as an RN required. EPIC user strongly preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice and professional performance encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
