Job Summary Responsible for enhancing nursing practice standards and promoting professional development within our hospital through developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols.

This position will also act in the role of Stroke Coordinator.

The area of specialty for this position is the Emergency Department.

Qualifications Education Associate 's Degree Nursing required

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Master's Degree Nursing preferred

Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] - required

Experience

Nursing experience 5-7 years required

Specialized clinical experience 3-5 years required

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations.

Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area within the hospital (e.g., critical care, oncology, etc.).Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills.

Strong communication skills both written and oral.
