Job Description:
Assists patients with healthcare needs who are ill or recovering from surgery or disease.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Carries out care as delegated by the RN.
- Receives report from RN daily by 0830 or 2030 to coordinate plan of care related to ADL's.
- Documents all ADL's for each patient every shift.
- Answers lights, or intercom system to determine patients' needs.
- Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring help.
- Transports patients or assists patients to walk.
- Runs errands, and direct visitors.
- Participates in admission/discharge activities.
- Accurately documents the care provided to patient during shift.
- Adheres to infection prevention strategies.
- Stock rooms with supplies.
- Stock isolation racks with supplies.
- Responsible to perform purposeful rounding.
- Updates "care boards" to include name, plan related to ADL/s, date

Med-Surg - primary floor will be 3rd, but they will float to 5M as necessary, and occasionally to the ED as a sitter
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Current Montana C.N.A. certification required upon hire
- BLS required within 60 days of hire
- Previous hospital experience
- Age of Patient Population Served Neonate (birth-28 days)
- Infant (29 days - less than 1 year)
- Pediatric (1 - 12 years)
- Adolescent (13 - 17 years)
- Adult (18 - 64 years)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $17.50 - $26.25
