Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Medical Services, we are currently looking for a Seasonal Medical Nurse Practitioner, who will provide clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment of our members (students, faculty & staff) who use the Timely Care platform. While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply,
30 + state licenses are required, 40 + state licenses preferred.
We offer a remote work environment. Work from home criteria includes but is not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements, a secure and HIPAA compliant workspace free from distractions, and successful completion of the credentialing, onboarding, and training programs. Adherence to HIPAA, compliance standards, and all policies/procedures are required for this role.
Schedule:This full-time seasonal role averages 40 clinical hours per week, with defined work periods from:
July 27 – December 15
January 15 – May 31
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. (5-8's)
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. (5-8's)
- Friday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. (3-12's)
- Provide synchronous/asynchronous clinical evaluation, assessment, and treatment of patients, in states of licensure
- Prescribe appropriate medication(s), if indicated
- Appropriate documentation of encounter in EHR (platform)
- Current licensure as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) (30 + state licenses required
, 40 + state licenses preferred) - Nursing Compact License
- Individual NPI number
- Active Prescriptive Authority to Prescribe Medications
- Strong Communication and Diagnostic Skills
- Independent practice authority in CA preferred
- Annual Base Salary ($90K - $100K, based on number of licenses)
