Overview:Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Overview:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a home health care setting is responsible for providing direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and offering essential support to patients with various medical needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, is required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that improves patient well-being.
AnticipatedStatus/Shift:
Part-Time (24 hours/week)
Night Shift (12AM-8AM)
Position Location:Sentara Hospice Services - South Boston, VA (travel can include up to a 50-mile radius for position)
Hourly Range: $22.39-$37/hour

Position Requirements :Education
- Trade School Graduate for Nursing (Required)
- LPN License in state of practice (VA) (Required)
- BLS (Required within 90 days)
- 2 years’ experience (Required)
- Prior hospice experience (Strongly preferred)
