We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant for an outpatient neurology opportunity in Raleigh / Durham, NC. This is a strong role for an APP seeking a more structured specialty setting with a mix of clinic and telehealth, strong support, and long-term stability.

The provider will work in an established outpatient neurology practice managing follow‑up and new patients while collaborating closely with physicians, RNs, and MAs. This is a strong fit for an APP who wants specialty exposure, a predictable weekday schedule, and a team‑based environment without hospital‑style chaos.

• Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient neurology setting
• See follow‑up and new patients with support from the physician team
• Help manage conditions such as headaches, stroke follow‑up, Parkinson’s, MS, and related neurologic issues
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies as appropriate
• Manage medications, treatment plans, and ongoing follow‑up care
• Respond to patient messages, refill requests, and routine care coordination needs
• Participate in telehealth visits and in‑clinic care depending on schedule and fit

• Outpatient neurology

• Strong MA and RN support
• Athena EMR
• Opportunity for some procedural exposure / training depending on fit

• Active or eligible NP or PA licensure
• Prior APP experience preferred
• Background in neurology, cardiology, internal medicine, family medicine, or another strong outpatient specialty can translate well
• Neurology experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication, follow‑up, and patient management skills
• Comfortable in a structured, fast‑paced outpatient environment
