Pay: $105,000 - $120,000

Location:

Multiple clinical settings, including offices, outpatient dialysis centers, and hospitals (float between practices, hospitals, and dialysis centers)

Summary

Seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive nephrology care in diverse clinical environments. The role involves managing patients with chronic kidney disease, end-stage renal disease, hypertension, and related conditions. The NP will collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple settings. This position offers a remote work structure with a focus on in-person patient care at various facilities, providing a dynamic and enriching work environment.

Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current and unrestricted RN and APN licenses in applicable states
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an approved organization
  • DEA registration (if required)
  • BLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • Prior experience in nephrology, dialysis, or internal medicine preferred; dialysis experience is a plus but not mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with kidney-related illnesses in office settings and dialysis centers
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
  • Review laboratory results and diagnostic imaging, adjusting care accordingly
  • Provide patient and family education on kidney disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
  • Coordinate care with nephrologists, other healthcare providers, and dialysis teams
  • Perform dialysis rounds, monitor treatment efficacy, and manage complications in outpatient settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance and quality standards
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, including clinical conferences and quality improvement initiatives
