The Neuropsychiatric Clinic of Atlantis is an established outpatient psychiatric practice providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing behavioral health services.
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team.
This opportunity offers flexibility for a provider interested in providing services in our Villa Rica office, virtually through telehealth, or through a hybrid schedule.
ScheduleWe offer flexible scheduling based on provider availability and practice needs.
We welcome applicants seeking part-time or supplemental clinical hours and are open to discussing weekday, evening, and weekend availability.
Providers with the ability to maintain consistent recurring availability are strongly preferred to support patient access and continuity of care.
ResponsibilitiesThe PMHNP will provide outpatient psychiatric services within the scope of their Georgia licensure and professional training, including:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations
- Providing medication-management follow-up visits
- Assessing symptoms, diagnoses, medications, and treatment response
- Developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans
- Prescribing medications when clinically appropriate and permitted by law
- Completing timely and accurate progress notes and clinical documentation
- Maintaining appropriate medical and psychiatric records
- Coordinating with the Clinical Director and practice team regarding patient care
- Supporting continuity of care and a positive patient experience
- Following applicable federal and Georgia laws, HIPAA requirements, payer requirements, and practice policies
- Participating in applicable insurance credentialing
- Current and unrestricted Georgia APRN license
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
- Appropriate prescribing credentials/authority
- Strong psychiatric assessment and medication-management skills
- Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills
Ability to maintain reliable, recurring availability - Ability to utilize electronic health records and telehealth technology
- Current DEA registration or the ability to obtain
- Previous outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health experience
- Experience providing psychiatric care via telehealth
- Experience with medication management
- Experience with commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and/or managed-care populations
- Ability to provide in-person services at our Villa Rica office
- Evening and/or weekend availability
Estimated earning potential will vary based on the agreed provider compensation model, schedule, patient volume, visit type, experience, and productivity.
Our provider compensation structures may include a base/guaranteed availability model, productivity-based compensation, or a combination of base compensation and productivity incentives.
Compensation may take into consideration:
- Scheduled provider availability
- New-patient psychiatric evaluations
- Follow-up medication-management visits
Actual compensation structures and rates may vary by provider and will be established through mutually agreed-upon contractual terms.

Practice SupportOur providers are supported by an administrative team that assists with patient scheduling, billing and collections, credentialing coordination, and day-to-day practice operations.
Providers utilize practice-approved technology for electronic health records, scheduling, telehealth, and patient communication.
