The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a full-time, hybrid role based in Overland Park, KS, with the opportunity for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves ongoing medication management, monitoring treatment effectiveness, and adjusting care as needed in collaboration with psychiatrists and therapists. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide patient education, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support a holistic approach to mental health care that aligns with the clinic’s evidence-based model.

This is a 1099 position with an aggrssive 70/30 split on net deposits.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Mental Health Nursing and Nursing, with experience in providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Candidates should be qualified Nurse Practitioners with appropriate national certification and state licensure (or eligibility) as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• Candidates should have expertise in Mental Health Care and Psychiatric Care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with diverse patient populations.
• Strong organizational skills, clinical documentation competence, and comfort with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Graduate degree in nursing (MSN or DNP) with a psychiatric focus; prior outpatient or integrated care experience is highly beneficial.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and a holistic approach that considers physiology, environment, and lived experience.
