Description
The Clinical Nurse provides direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients across the continuum of care. The role requires rapid clinical assessment, sound judgment, and adherence to professional nursing standards in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. The Clinical Nurse plans, implements, and evaluates patient-centered care, safeguards patient rights, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal clinical outcomes. Practice is aligned with organizational values, quality improvement principles, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education Qualifications- Associate’s Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse
- Successful completion of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program, including exposure to acute care settings.
- Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care, critical care, emergency, or specialty clinical setting.
- Experience managing high-acuity patients, rapid clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration in fast-paced environments.
- Provide care to patients across a range of surgical specialties, including gastrointestinal (GI), pulmonary, ophthalmology, trauma, etc.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in Critical Care or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nursing.
