Engage in meaningful work that supports sustainable agricultural practices.

• Develop prescribed grazing plans that meet NRCS standards and specifications.
• Provide follow-up technical assistance and guidance to livestock grazing producers.
• Conduct outreach and education events, including pasture walks and field days.
• Collaborate with NRCS staff to create planning templates and compile necessary information for conservation planning.
• Promote farm bill programs and connect producers with resources for implementation.

• At least 5 years of professional experience writing grazing plans or working in land stewardship.
• Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance to farmers or landowners.
• Knowledge of Virginia agriculture and soil health principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize work independently.
• Strong communication skills, including meeting facilitation, writing, and partner relations.

• NRCS certified technical service provider status.
• Experience working with historically underserved producers.
• A passion for regenerative grazing systems and sustainable farming practices.
• Experience developing outreach materials and engaging diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with federal and state policies supporting agricultural conservation.
