Adventure Scientists is a nonprofit organization on a mission to protect the planet by pairing scientists with individuals uniquely capable of gathering difficult-to-obtain data. Our team collaborates with scientists worldwide to solve pressing environmental challenges, from biodiversity to climate change. Every role here offers a chance to make an impact on a global scale!
🙋♀️ About the RoleWe’re looking for a part-time Field Marketing Fellow (contractor role) to help us document and protect wildlife across national forests in the Pacific Northwest. This is an exciting, explorative role ideal for someone already hiking, camping, climbing, or venturing through forested landscapes in the Pacific Northwest who wants to support science in a meaningful way.

You’ll be supported by our Communications Manager and receive a brand toolkit with all the guidance you need.
We’re looking for someone who already loves exploring wild places and would be excited to turn those outdoor adventures into something bigger! ☘️

- Capture and deliver monthly content (15-30 photos, 3 short video/reel, and 3 drafted social media post).

- Share positive conservation and habitat-focused messages online and in person
- Submit deliverable on time and aligned with our content guidelines (toolkit provided)
- Expertise in content creation (professional camera or high-quality phone) and storytelling through photography and short-form video.

- Passion for wildlife habitats, forest conservation, and ecosystem resilience.
