Pet Sitter & Dog Walker - Cheshire Area

Sarah’s Pet Sitting is one of Central Connecticut’s most established and trusted pet care companies, proudly serving local families since 2008. We’re currently looking for dependable, compassionate animal lovers to join our Cheshire area team. This flexible part-time opportunity is ideal for people who enjoy working independently, staying active, and building meaningful relationships with pets and clients throughout their local community.

Many of our team members are teachers, retirees, veterinary professionals, remote workers, parents with daytime flexibility, or animal lovers looking for rewarding supplemental income close to home. Established in 2008.

Compensation is structured per visit, with many team members earning approximately $18-25+ per hour of active scheduled time depending on route density, availability, tips, and holiday coverage.

As a professional pet sitter and dog walker, you’ll visit clients’ homes throughout the Cheshire area to provide dependable care for dogs, cats, and small pets. Visits may include:

• Dog walking
• Feeding and fresh water
• Litter box cleaning
• Medications
• Playtime and companionship
• Detailed visit updates for clients

Because many of our clients travel or work long hours, applicants should have consistent availability during some mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the year. Early morning availability is a major plus.

• Must be 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Smartphone required
• Ability to safely enter and secure client homes
• Comfortable using scheduling and communication apps
• Professional animal experience is helpful but not required — we will train the right person
