Program Overview- Eligibility: 3rd and 4th‑year DVM students at AVMA‑accredited veterinary schools
- Duration: Two‑week externship blocks, with flexibility to accommodate university rotation requirements
- Stipend: Competitive stipend, paid via direct deposit on the first Friday of the rotation
- Locations: City Vet clinics available across multiple states
- Housing: Housing is not provided;
City Vet can share accommodation recommendations from prior externs - International students: Eligible if enrolled at an AVMA‑accredited university and authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available at this time
- Small animal general practice medicine and surgery
- Client communication and case management
