Job Summary

Provide veterinary services as well as student support and teaching for field based Accessible Veterinary Care projects, including KLOHC, Covelo Clinic and the new clinic at Pet Smart.

• License to practice veterinary medicine in California (or ability to get one within 90 days).
• Required to hold a valid California driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program
• Doctoral degree (M.V..M / V.M.D) degree from an accredited school of veterinary medicine.
• 5 years of clinical experience.
• Understanding of animal welfare and accessible veterinary care.
• Knowlege of regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive a trailer.

• 10 years clinical experience.
• Experience working in community medicine and with students.
• Training in HQHVSN (High-Quality, High-Volume Spay/Neuter).

• 80% - Clinical Veterinarian
• 20% - Program Support
