Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking Biology Field Technician 2 positions to support research on remote trail cameras monitoring large mammal populations in northwest Montana. Field duties require extensive time away from the duty station in rugged terrain.
Responsibilities include retrieving cameras, hiking long distances, and navigating difficult terrain using GPS and maps. Strong data collection and communication skills are essential; camping and outdoor overnight stays are common.
