Dog Walking Position Available-Full Time Mon-Friday

We are currently hiring for a 5 day per week position. This job is approx. 7 hrs per day with an approx. 10am start. We are a boutique dog walking service located in Greenwich Village and operating for over 26 years. Our walks are individual or paired, no pack walks, in a beautiful neighborhood.

• Loves and Respects dogs.
• Is Punctual, Professional and Polite at all times.
• Enjoys intense physical activity and being outside even in inclement weather. This is a fast paced job which requires being tough on your feet.
• Has the ability to solve problems or is able to communicate well with the team leader when problems arise.
• Is energetic and enjoys meeting people.
• Has hospitality and customer service experience. With many of our clients working from home we have a lot of interaction with pet owners. At its core, dog walking is a customer service job. Their needs are paramount.
• Is able to adhere to our policies which include No talking or scrolling on phone while walking dogs, No headphones while walking dogs, No jaywalking.
• Is Focused, Detailed and understands the importance of caring for someone s beloved pet.
• While this job holds a lot of responsibility it is a very satisfying and enjoyable way to spend your day.
• Prior dog walking experience, while preferred, is not essential, however, an ease and comfort around dogs is a necessity. Candidate must be able to prioritize the needs of the client.

This is a full time position 5 days per week. Monday-Friday. There is a need for occasional daily starts at 8:30a.m.

The position starts at $24 per hour. This is a W-2 job.
