Join AIT Home Delivery as a contracted owner-operator team specializing in last‑mile furniture delivery and in‑home assembly for a well-known discount furniture retailer. You and your helper will delight customers Tuesday–Saturday with white‑glove care—from placing sofas to building beds and shelving. You’ll finish your route and be home each day.
What a typical day looks like Start your morning with a manifest of residential stops around the Oakdale, PA area
Load your 26' box truck with lift gate and head out as a two‑person team Deliver, place, and assemble items (legs on couches, bed frames, shelving units)
Represent AIT’s high‑touch, white‑glove standards with every customer interaction
Close the day with completed PODs and smiles—then head home Contract structure and earnings
1099 contractor engagement
Settlements: potential to earn $170,000–$225,000 per year depending on volume, location, and customer service abilities; settlements process weekly
Home daily schedule, Tuesday–Saturday routes
Who we’re looking for
26' Box Truck owner‑operator teams with a professional helper
At least 1 year of final‑mile home goods install experience preferred
Customer‑first mindset and white‑glove presentation
Must‑have qualifications
Must have a 26' box truck
Must have a lift gate
Must operate as a two man team
Must have an EINMust maintain insurance that meets AIT requirementsDOT /MC required
Screening and compliance
Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpersMVR are performed for all driving contractors
