Pharmacy Technician - Accredo

** The selected candidate will work on-site at our 677 Ala Moana Blvd. Suite 404, Honolulu, HI location**

Monday through Friday working an 8 hour day in addition to a 1 hour lunch break. Position requires a flexible start time of 6 AM, 7 AM and 8 AM.

Works as part of the fulfillment team supporting prescription management. Responsibilities include benefits investigation and verification; picking, packing, and shipping medications; order entry; customer service documentation; inventory management; and patient and provider correspondence, as well as other duties as assigned by management. Must adhere to strict HIPAA regulations, particularly when communicating with individuals outside of Express Scripts. All team members are expected to follow established Policies and Procedures (P&P) and work instructions and collaborate with onsite or offsite departments, both internal and external to the company, as directed.

The weights listed in the Essential Functions may vary based on the size and operational needs of the department. Team members are also expected to work collaboratively with supervisors and management to cross‑train and develop proficiency across all functional areas of the role.

• Process prescriptions and manage inventory; responsibilities may change based on business needs as directed by a supervisor or manager.
• Work in a production environment to support operational demands.
• Maintain familiarity with current work instructions and procedures.
• Primary focus on fulfillment and inventory management, with an expectation to cross‑train across all functional areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician registration with the state of Hawaii required with assistance, if not registered.
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills desired.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

• Sit and/or stand for lengthy periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.
• Perform repetitive motion with fingers, hands, and arms.
• Work may be in confined areas close to machinery.
• Work may be performed in an environment with varying levels of noise.

This position is fully on site and does not permit remote work. Any references to home‑based internet requirements do not apply to this role.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
