• Under minimal direction, complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, providing excellent and efficient service to customers, and delivering technical training.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times while using business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and team goal advancement.
• Communicate with various levels of internal and external customers, recognizing and addressing their unique needs. Foster collaboration by training newer Field Service Engineers.

• Associate degree preferred (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related field) or equivalent military experience.
• 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotic, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing service schedules, priorities, and travel efficiently.

• Hold a current valid driver’s license and a good driving record over the last three years.
• Ability to travel, providing service in an assigned geography and taking periodic trips to other areas, including overnight stays.
• Can lift, lower and carry up to 50 lb. unassisted.
• Can frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods.
• Can reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and has good hand and finger dexterity.

• 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting.
• Developing relationships with internal and external customers to foster positive partnership and enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

The hourly range for this role is $34–38 per hour. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus or incentive pay.
