National Dental Contracting Professional
Partner with a leading health insurer to build and expand a Medicaid dental network. This role identifies, engages, and contracts qualified dentists, ensuring the network meets accessibility, quality, and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Proactively source and identify dentists and dental practices for Medicaid network participation.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Present network benefits, address provider questions, and negotiate terms to facilitate the contracting process.
- Collect and verify required documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal Medicaid guidelines.
- Collaborate with legal, credentialing, and provider relations teams to streamline onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, contract status, and provider information in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor market trends and provider feedback to refine recruitment efforts and maintain network adequacy.
- Deliver educational programs to providers on Medicaid policies, compliance requirements, best practices, and program updates.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Medicaid dental provider recruitment, service, or retention.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid dental programs, provider contracting, fee negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, public‑speaking, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field.
Work from home with a reliable internet connection (minimum 25
Mbps download, 10
Mbps upload). Remote associates in CA, IL, MT, or SD receive a bi‑weekly internet expense payment. Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
Full‑time (40 hours per week) salary range: $65,000 – $88,600 per year. Eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
