As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Project Scientist to support technology transfer and product implementation initiatives across our PET manufacturing network.
This is an excellent opportunity for a radio chemist, scientist, or technical professional who enjoys working at the intersection of science, manufacturing, and innovation while helping bring new radiopharmaceutical products into commercial production.
Role OverviewAs a Project Scientist, PET, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting technology transfer activities, validation programs, and new product onboarding across multiple PET manufacturing sites. Working closely with Operations, Quality, Project Management, and external partners, you will help ensure new products and processes are successfully implemented while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
LocationRemote-Based, United States
This is a home-based position located in the United States. Travel to Jubilant Radio pharmacies manufacturing and radiopharmacy sites, as well as customer locations, will be required to support project execution and successful technology transfers.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the technical lead for PET technology transfer projects across the manufacturing network.
- Support new product onboarding, process implementation, and commercial product launches.
- Prepare, review, and approve technology transfer, validation, and GMP documentation.
- Partner with site teams to support engineering runs, process validation, troubleshooting, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Support equipment qualification, cleaning validation, method qualification, continued process verification, and change control activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, quality systems, and customer commitments.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technology transfer, product development, manufacturing support, or related activities within the pharmaceutical or radiopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience supporting commercial manufacturing within a cGMP environment.
- Strong knowledge of PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and applicable regulations, including FDA 21 CFR Part 212, FDA 21 CFR Part 211, FDA Part 11, ICH Q9, USP , GAMP 5, and ISPE guidance.
- Experience with validation, qualification, risk assessments, change controls, investigations, and GMP documentation.
- Strong technical writing, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple sites and functions.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP certification is an asset.
- Play a key role in expanding access to PET radiopharmaceuticals across the United States.
- Work on innovative products and technology transfer programs that directly support patient care.
- Collaborate with experienced radio chemists, scientists, manufacturing leaders, and quality professionals.
