Quality Partnership Manager Suppliers
Beverage Client Company is seeking an experienced Quality Partnership Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate with a technical background in food manufacturing quality and auditing with experience in both the plant and corporate environments. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and maintaining partnerships with co-manufacturing, 3PL providers, and supplier partners, ensuring exceptional product quality and regulatory compliance across the Beverage Client Company network.
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Lead quality and food safety oversight for all raw material and packaging suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, food safety, and consistency.
- Develop, implement, and manage supplier qualifications, approval, and monitoring programs.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage corrective action/preventive action (CAPA) processes related to supplier performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, R&D, Operations, FSQA, and Technical Affairs to align supplier quality expectations with business needs.
- Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and performance reviews; follow up on findings and improvement plans.
- Manage and resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
- Partner with suppliers to introduce new raw materials and packaging, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance with specifications.
- Track and analyze supplier quality metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to leadership in quarterly business reviews.
- Stay current with evolving food safety regulations, packaging standards, and industry trends to proactively manage supplier risk.
- Conduct regular quality system audits, recommending improvements aligned with strategic business goals and ensuring Beverage Client Company standards are executed at all times.
- Frequent onsite review of production, sanitation, and program records.
- Oversee continuous improvement of product quality and plant quality systems through corrective and preventive action programs.
- Coordinate and lead incident management and investigations for assigned partners both virtually and onsite as required; this includes incident-related data collection, interpretation and reporting of key information to stakeholders, and execution of the business decision regarding product disposition.
- Support internal and external partners through traceability and mock recall exercises ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
- Develop, analyze, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to product quality, safety, and partner performance.
- Maintain positive relationships with co-manufacturing and supplier partners, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain thorough partner records.
- Facilitate the resolution of customer complaints through effective corrective action processes between partners and Beverage Client Company.
- Collaborate on cross-departmental projects, taking a leadership role as necessary.
- Establish professional rapport with colleagues at all levels, embodying Beverage Client Company’s culture and values.

Job RequirementsTECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality management, including time as a Quality manager in a food manufacturing facility, conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Technical degree in food science, biology, agriculture, meat science, or related field
- Quality auditing training or certification through an accredited organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to travel 75% by plane and car to domestic or international sites.
- Valid driver's license
- Some lifting and the movement of moderate loads require 50-pound lifting requirements.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.
- Experience working in a high-growth environment where decisions are made swiftly, and priorities shift throughout the day.
- Technical knowledge of packaging materials used for CSDs (aluminum cans, ends, corrugate materials, shrink wrap).
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage strong supplier relationships with a balance of partnership and accountability.
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including domestic and international travel
