Mission Technologies, a division of HII is looking for a Qaulity Assurance / Safety Evaluator in Key West, FL. The Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) Quality Assurance / Safety Evaluator is responsible for auditing assigned sites to ensure full compliance with the NITE Quality Manual and the NITE Occupational Safety and Health Plan, conducting scheduled audits and safety program evaluations as directed by NITE Quality and Safety Management, and producing clear, accurate reports based on those findings;

the role also supports site leadership by assisting with incident investigations, documenting nonconformities, tracking corrective and preventive actions, gathering and analyzing customer feedback, preparing for external audits, and contributing to broader quality and safety initiatives that strengthen overall program performance.

Work Location – Naval Air Station (NAS) Key West (Onsite)

• Supports management in establishing, developing, implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. Assists management in planning, developing, establishing, implementing and maintaining an approved Quality Manual compliant with the Statement of Work and QMS elements.
• Assist site personnel in the development/revision of Work Instructions (WIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), for all QMS elements.
• Develops QA audits and inspections schedules for the assigned site. Participates in or conducts technical or special inspections as required.
• Establishes quality training requirements, schedules training classes, and arranges special training courses as required.
• Assists in maintaining files of site quality audits, including documentation of results, nonconformity reports, corrective and preventive actions. Analyzes trends, key metrics, implements process improvements, and systems to increase efficiency, effectiveness, accuracy, timeliness and completeness of program analysis.
