Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests to ensure product quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and deliver a high-quality experience to our users.
Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications
- Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups to stay aligned with development cycles
- Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices
- Track and report on test coverage, defects, and test execution status
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to improve overall product quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or QA roles
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test case management tools (e.g., Test Rail, Zephyr)
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or Rest Assured
- Knowledge of performance and load testing (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
