Role description

The Head of Quality Management will be responsible for leading and continuously advancing the Group’s quality strategy at both local and international level. The role combines strong people leadership with strategic oversight, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable quality performance across sites.

This position plays a key role in strengthening our global quality management framework, driving audit excellence, and embedding a proactive quality culture throughout the organization. By aligning local execution with global standards, the role ensures that quality is not only maintained, but continuously elevated as a competitive advantage.

• Completed degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field
• Several years of experience in quality management, ideally within a manufacturing company in the food industry
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal, Kosher, and relevant food regulatory requirements
• Experience in project management, particularly in international and cross‑functional teams
• Structured, analytical approach and quick comprehension of complex issues
• High level of initiative, organizational skills, teamwork, and strong communication abilities
• Leadership experience both technically and disciplinarily; openness to new ideas and ability to independently learn new topics
• Strong English and German skills, both written and spoken.
• Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and BI dashboards is an advantage.

• QM Leadership – Lead the Quality Management team at the Reinbek site and ensure compliance with, as well as continuous development of, our quality management system (ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, HACCP, Kosher, Halal)
• Global QM – Implement and optimize the global quality management system across all company sites, including Indonesia, UAE, and Switzerland
• Audit Management – Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal, customer, and certification audits, deriving effective corrective and preventive actions
• HACCP & Food Safety – Lead the cross‑functional HACCP team and continuously enhance the existing HACCP concept
• Project Management– Drive cross-site and cross-departmental projects to strengthen quality culture and processes
• Sustainability – Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and ensure strategic alignment with quality management and corporate objectives.
