Aboutthe Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to support quality assurance activities for a Salesforce-based application. The role is responsible for ensuring that all software solutions meet defined functional and quality standards prior to release. This position requires a hands‑on QA professional with strong expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure completion of functional testing activities
- Review functional and design specifications to validate requirements
- Identify gaps or ambiguities in requirements prior to testing
- Develop and execute:
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test scripts and scenarios
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure application quality
- Conduct regression testing to validate system stability after changes
- Test Management & Execution
- Define testing scope, timelines, and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
- Assign and manage testing tasks across team members
- Facilitate testing for:
- New implementations
- Enhancements
- Production support
- Ensure all testing activities are properly documented and completed before release
- Defect & Quality Management
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear and detailed reporting
- Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution
- Analyze test results and generate quality metrics and reports
- Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with:
- Developers
- Product Owners
- Business stakeholders
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end‑users
- Communicate issues, risks, and delays in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations to improve QA processes and efficiency
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and maintain:
- QA plans
- Testing procedures
- SOPs and documentation
- Continuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- Maintain detailed documentation of:
- Test cases
- Results
- Defects
- QA activities
- Professional Expectations
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and communication
- Ensure all documentation and communication is clear, concise, and error‑free
- Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team
- Facilitate meetings with structured agendas and clear follow‑ups
Required Skills &
Certifications:
- Strong experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
- Hands‑on expertise in:
- Test planning and execution
- Defect tracking and management
- Regression testing
- Experience with:
- Manual and automated testing tools
- QA methodologies and frameworks
- Ability to:
- Analyze requirements and identify gaps
- Generate quality metrics and reports
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments
- Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan aligned with project objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing priorities
- Produce:
- Test cases
- Defect reports
- Test results
- Define and document testing processes and procedures
- Cover:
- Functional testing
- Performance testing
- Data quality validation
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Salesforce application testing
- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent)
- Background in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or related field
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices
