Senior Manager – Quality
We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Quality to lead and oversee all quality assurance and control activities at our Clyde, OH manufacturing plant. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system (QMS) that ensures our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards. This role requires a strategic leader with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and manage the plant’s QMS, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures by leveraging the World Class Manufacturing system.
- Partner cross‑functionally with MFG operations, category business team, and design engineering to develop project plans to achieve internal and external quality targets; 12

MIS, and CAL. - Collaborate with design and process engineering to understand, implement, and ensure flawless execution of Design for Assembly / Design for Manufacturing requirements during new product introduction and ongoing monitoring/audit of established DFA/DFM requirements.
- Lead, mentor, develop, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians; foster a culture of quality, accountability, and excellence throughout the organization.
- Ensure plant compliance with all internal, external, and regulatory quality standards; manage and participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Oversee all quality control activities, including incoming material inspection, in‑process checks, and final product testing; establish and maintain product specifications and quality standards.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, and non‑conformances; implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Use statistical process control (SPC) and other data analysis tools to monitor key quality metrics; prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with the Supplier Quality team to ensure our suppliers meet our quality standards.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs for all plant personnel to enhance quality awareness and skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing a QMS (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, 8D problem‑solving).
- 3+ years of combined experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 7+ years of combined experience in a manufacturing quality environment.
- Experience in a large, complex plant environment.
- Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) and Lean Manufacturing methods.
- Six Sigma / Shainin Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
- Communication and support to 24‑hour/day assembly processes.
- Always On Flexibility – autonomy to manage personal, family, and outside‑of‑work commitments as needed.
- Two‑Week Work from Anywhere – minimum of one‑week increments for a total of two weeks per year.
- Sabbatical – four weeks paid leave after every five years of service.
