Quality Assurance Specialist

Onsite or Hybrid:
This position is hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home.

Base pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 an hour, eligible for overtime

The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Manager in preparing quality data, resolving quality issues, strengthening systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in monitoring quality performance, managing corrective and preventive actions, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and certifications.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to identify trends, suggest solutions, and improve overall product and process quality.

• Monitor KPIs and quality objectives using data analysis tools such as Excel
• Analyze product quality trends, cost of quality, and corrective action effectiveness
• Communicate significant trends or risks
• Prepare reports for the Quality Manager and management team

• Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of corrective or preventive actions
• Coordinate CAPA activities, containment actions, and investigations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system updates

• Participate in internal audits and assist with auditor training
• Serve as a resource during customer and certification body audits
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and company procedures

• Assist with RMA reviews and investigations
• Assist with tracking non-conformances, quality alerts, scorecards, and customer satisfaction metrics
• Log and track action items through completion and verify effectiveness

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in manufacturing quality or related field
• Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret procedures, reports, and metrics
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new software systems

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Training or coursework in Quality Management Systems
• Experience supporting audits, CAPA, or compliance programs
