Base pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 an hour, eligible for overtime

About the RoleThe Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Manager in preparing quality data, resolving quality issues, strengthening systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in monitoring quality performance, managing corrective and preventive actions, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and certifications.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership teams to identify trends, suggest solutions, and improve overall product and process quality.
Key Responsibilities Quality Metrics & Data Analysis- Monitor KPIs and quality objectives using data analysis tools such as Excel
- Analyze product quality trends, cost of quality, and corrective action effectiveness
- Communicate significant trends or risks
- Prepare reports for the Quality Manager and management team
- Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of corrective or preventive actions
- Coordinate CAPA activities, containment actions, and investigations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system updates
- Participate in internal audits and assist with auditor training
- Serve as a resource during customer and certification body audits
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and company procedures
- Assist with RMA reviews and investigations
- Assist with tracking non-conformances, quality alerts, scorecards, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Log and track action items through completion and verify effectiveness
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in manufacturing quality or related field
- Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret procedures, reports, and metrics
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new software systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Training or coursework in Quality Management Systems
- Experience supporting audits, CAPA, or compliance programs
- Organized, detail-oriented self-starter
- Strong communicator comfortable working with diverse teams
- Motivated team player who can work independently
