This role offers a remote home base with extensive project-based travel and onsite leadership responsibilities throughout various stages of construction.

This is an opportunity to build and lead quality programs on some of the most advanced infrastructure projects being delivered today. You'll play a critical role in ensuring projects meet design intent, regulatory requirements, and client expectations while helping establish a culture of quality across rapidly growing operations.

What You'll Do as the Quality Manager:
  • Lead project-specific quality assurance and quality control programs from project startup through final turnover
  • Develop, implement, and manage inspection and testing processes across multiple construction disciplines
  • Perform field audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, approved plans, and industry standards
  • Review and approve contractor quality plans, testing procedures, material documentation, and inspection requirements
  • Manage deficiency tracking, corrective action processes, and quality issue resolution
  • Coordinate third-party inspections, testing agencies, and regulatory compliance activities
  • Maintain complete project quality documentation, turnover records, and closeout packages
  • Participate in constructability reviews and preconstruction planning efforts
  • Support commissioning and turnover teams by ensuring quality documentation is complete and accurate
  • Provide regular reporting and quality metrics to project leadership
Must-Haves as the Quality Manager:
  • 5+ years of QA/QC experience within commercial, industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, energy, or large-scale construction environments
  • Experience developing and executing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, deficiency tracking, and corrective action processes
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes
  • Experience coordinating inspections, testing agencies, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and spend extended periods onsite during active project phases
  • Comfortable with 3-6 month periods of being at a location before moving to the next. Will be working remotely from home, unless onsite at a project.
Nice-to-Haves as the Quality Manager:
  • Data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical facility experience
  • Familiarity with commissioning and systems turnover processes
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms
  • ICC, CWI, or other construction quality certifications
  • Experience supporting multiple projects or programs simultaneously
  • Flexibility to relocate for future project opportunities
Our Client Offers:
  • Base salary targeting $135,000-$155,000 with flexibility up to approximately $160,000 for exceptional candidates
  • Up to 10% annual performance bonus
  • Fully paid project travel and per diem
  • Company vehicle program
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with 4% company match
  • Equity opportunities for select positions
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Fast interview process with rapid feedback
  • Strong career growth within a high-growth organization
