Quality Specialist

Location: Henrico

Our client is seeking a Quality Specialist to join their team. As a Quality Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Management Department supporting supplier quality, customer engagement, and compliance with controlled substances regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) with a focus on supplier quality and compliance.

+ Lead and coordinate completion of customer and supplier quality questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

+ Review and support negotiation of quality agreements and contracts, including those related to controlled substances.

+ Develop and maintain SOPs for controlled substance processes and QMS operations.

+ Ensure regulatory compliance with DEA, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards through documentation and process improvements.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, or quality-related field or equivalent experience.

+ 3-5+ years of experience in quality, compliance, or regulated distribution environments.

+

Experience with supplier quality processes and controlled substances regulations.

+ Strong knowledge of DEA and FDA regulatory requirements.

+ Excellent technical writing, documentation, and audit readiness skills.
