Position
Senior Quality Systems Specialist – Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite (Spine Division)
OverviewAs a Training Specialist/Coordinator in the Quality Management System (QMS), you will enhance and sustain the QMS by creating and updating training materials, ensuring compliance with QMS training standards, and supporting training programs across the Spine Division and globally.
Key Responsibilities- Improve, maintain and report on the training program to support the Quality Management System.
- Work with process owners and managers to ensure employees receive appropriate training assignments in accordance with quality system requirements.
- Establish and evaluate curricula and user groups in the learning management system (LMS).
- Collaborate with divisional partners to ensure cross‑divisional team members receive efficient and adequate training assignments.
- Coordinate with the Stryker Corporate LMS Shared Services team to maintain and administer the LMS.
- Generate training key performance indicator (KPI) reports weekly and senior leadership team (SLT) reports monthly.
- Participate in decision making and lead discussions on quality systems departmental issues.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the QMS.
- Support internal and external quality system audits.
- Possibly take over additional tasks beyond training within the QMS.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in needs assessment, curriculum development, course design, LMS administration, training development, QMS knowledge, and/or related fields.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of a regulated industry such as medical device or pharmaceutical.
- Advanced working knowledge of LMS software, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interface with various departments and personnel.
- Excellent communication, time‑management, and organization skills.
- Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with the ability to draw insights from data quickly and define executable actions.
- Experience in a matrix organization.
- Learning Management Systems administration experience.
$67,400 – $136,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
